I think that was an early issue with several devices (non Moto X) sporting white finishes. Though I can't say for sure, I wouldn't worry about having an issue with yellowing of the device.

I have the DE, so the back is white, no issues so far.

I don't think it is going to be an issue. If it does eventually get dirty, it seems that the material can be cleaned fairly easily.

The white phones I've seen in the ATT stores all have pretty grungy looking backs. I believe that one of the downsides to that nice material they make the backs out of is going to cause the light colored ones to pick up grime. Probably easy enough to clean, but still... (mine's black)

Ive got the white one I keep a case on it so its clean! But what I really want is a white Moto X with the wooden back...
