I have been trying to find a way to root my phone. I downloaded and ran kingroot. It says "root strategy unavailable." under that it says "no strategy now". I have an LG Leon LTE. Android version 5.1.1 Kernel : 3.10.49 - g4abea92. Hardware version : Rev.1.0 Build# LMY47V Software Version : MS34510e. Been trying to find a way without a computer since i don't have one. Any advice?

I've done a lot of research on how to root LG Leon LTE phones for wifi hotspot carrier bypass purposes. Seems like the only way to root is if you downgrade the firmware to 10d. I had a 10f and it's just too advanced and isn't compatible with any root program yet. The 10d firmware is still Lollipop software and almost identical to the 10f. So it's either you downgrade, or you can wait until KingRoot or Kingo Root update their programs to make it compatible for the LG Leon LTE.

You could try kingoroot, its a root app designed to root almost any compatible device with one click. download the apk and click the button. it might take a minute to get the last 10% done, so give it a little time.if there are any problems you may have to resort to use of a computer.
