I've done the math, and I think I may switch to TMobile, but I had a quick question. I currently have $14.00 off for work, which is keeping the math in Sprint's favor. Does anyone know how quickly Sprint would drop my employee discount if I no longer work there? My contract is done at the end of the month, but TMobile is looking good, but Sprint's $14.00 off is what is keeping me. If I sign up for a contract, can Sprint drop the discount after I sign it?
Not sure if I said this clearly, let me know if anything needs explaining.
Edit: Also, TMobile's GS4 for $149 vs Sprint's for $249 is making me consider the switch too. Even though it's for new TMobile customers, and Sprint has it for new customers too.
Switch because I was getting a 25% with my job with sprint and only 12% now with tmobile. But doing the match with 2 S4 I am only paying $137 for my plan plus the $40 for the phone. I was paying $158 after a 25%. And i still have insurance an all my lines the extra $19 is worth it plus u get free tethering 500mb 4g and after that they dont charge you extra they just throttle you. I spoke to customer service at tmobile and they upped me to 4.5g of 4g tethering free because I already have unlimited 4g on my phone. If sprint did like tmobile and 2 forms of 4g wimax and lte on there phones I would of stayed. Between my job and home I get between 4g & 4g lte used about 4gb of data in 5 days. When i told sprint i was canceling and i was processing a port over they went from offering me $80 to renew my main line & $50 to renew my 2nd line & still be eligiable for upgrade they now offered me a $100 credit per line and told me i can get the phone at radioshack or bestbuy because there $50 cheaper then them directly. So now they wanted to pricematch tmobile. All i can say is try tmobile they have a 14 day guarentee and if you get a business discount it goes up to $30 days.
For the two forms of 4g?
Tmobile has lte and hspa+ which is
Pretty fast too as a back up.

And how fast is those 3G backup speeds? 1-2 MB download?

I'm still getting a corporate discount for a company I last worked for about 8 years ago. I've renewed my contract multiple times, and no one has ever asked about it. Come to think about it, they didn't ask for any proof when I signed up for the discount, either.
