I've done the math, and I think I may switch to TMobile, but I had a quick question. I currently have $14.00 off for work, which is keeping the math in Sprint's favor. Does anyone know how quickly Sprint would drop my employee discount if I no longer work there? My contract is done at the end of the month, but TMobile is looking good, but Sprint's $14.00 off is what is keeping me. If I sign up for a contract, can Sprint drop the discount after I sign it?

Not sure if I said this clearly, let me know if anything needs explaining.

Edit: Also, TMobile's GS4 for $149 vs Sprint's for $249 is making me consider the switch too. Even though it's for new TMobile customers, and Sprint has it for new customers too.

I only had to prove my employment once, but I think that was because Sprint is changing how aggressive they are about proof, which is not a bad thing.

Switch because I was getting a 25% with my job with sprint and only 12% now with tmobile. But doing the match with 2 S4 I am only paying $137 for my plan plus the $40 for the phone. I was paying $158 after a 25%. And i still have insurance an all my lines the extra $19 is worth it plus u get free tethering 500mb 4g and after that they dont charge you extra they just throttle you. I spoke to customer service at tmobile and they upped me to 4.5g of 4g tethering free because I already have unlimited 4g on my phone. If sprint did like tmobile and 2 forms of 4g wimax and lte on there phones I would of stayed. Between my job and home I get between 4g & 4g lte used about 4gb of data in 5 days. When i told sprint i was canceling and i was processing a port over they went from offering me $80 to renew my main line & $50 to renew my 2nd line & still be eligiable for upgrade they now offered me a $100 credit per line and told me i can get the phone at radioshack or bestbuy because there $50 cheaper then them directly. So now they wanted to pricematch tmobile. All i can say is try tmobile they have a 14 day guarentee and if you get a business discount it goes up to $30 days.

For the two forms of 4g?
Tmobile has lte and hspa+ which is
Pretty fast too as a back up.

Yea because where my job is on tmobile i only get hspa+ which they consider 4g so i get around 5-10mb download at my house i am get lte that why u look at my other post I am get getting like 28mb download. I would of stayed with sprint if they had duel mode because I have wimax 4g in my area because I sometimes use my evo 3D but no lte even though they said they did about 60 upgrades in my area. Its a same the #4 company is atleast trying in the tristate. & if softbank doesn't buy sprint they going for tmobile and hopefully get some of those hot japanese gsm phones.

I'll stick to Sprint and at least 3g outside the city lol.

I'm still getting a corporate discount for a company I last worked for about 8 years ago. I've renewed my contract multiple times, and no one has ever asked about it. Come to think about it, they didn't ask for any proof when I signed up for the discount, either.

I get 0.3-0.5mb down in downtown Elyria, Ohio and we're a major city!! I'm holding out for nv though, but what I'd really like sprint to do is move on from that 100 year old tech of theirs.

Yeah that's about right. I almost hit 3 sometimes. Besides where I travel I be on 3g about less than 5% of the time lol real talk lol.

Be sure to look on sprint.com they might of notified you I know they are doing that a lot lately asking for proof of employment. I was going to lose my 25% discount because I know longer work for my company. But I was going to switch to my sister corporate discount from uhaul sprint offered 20% but I was told because she not the primary account holder I couldn't use her proof of employment. I've been with T-mobile almost a month happy with them, at time of activation they had no problem adding my sister business account to my account they offer 12% but its for both lines and it also discounts the insurance. I was with sprint since 03 I would definitely do the switch, tmobile is doing big things and expanding there lte network quickly I know in NJ they only have Newark, & Atlantic City listed as lte but it definitely covers a lot more. Plus they adding that Jump addon for $10 that includes insurance and lets you upgrade every 6 months.
