So i recently swayed my dad's opinion on purchasing a *pad, to now getting a XOOM, when they finally arrive on Verizon.
He has one major concern to buying a tablet which is being able to rent or buy movies. I wondered myself about this, seeing how there's no official competition to the movie rentals on Itunes.
So i figured the blockbuster app would be a solution to his problem, but i'm not sure if that merely lets you stream your movie, or actually it lets you download the movie to watch later. Which is very important, as he wants to be able to watch movies while on an airplane. I looked at amazon's rentals as a possible idea, but it's worded like mobile devices aren't allowed. I could be wrong.
In short, if someone was to buy a android tablet, what alternatives would they have to downloading rentals of movies? Which is comparable to movie renting for an *pad on itunes.
