Toggling between iPhone 14 pro max and S22U

I own an iPhone 14 Pro Max, but want to also purchase a S22U. I’m on Verizon.

W the new iPhone e-sim, how would one toggle back and forth between the two devices?

On T-Mobile I do it with logging in my account and transfer numbers and then receive a text message after input your IEMI number with phone number, not sure Verizon is that easy.
