I've got one on preorder and with a best buy gift card I'll get it for 100$, then sell the one I win here (assuming i do) for 400$ would mean I got paid 300$ to get an Evo. LOL

I want the Evo so bad but if I dont win I just hope it goes to someone who really can't afford it. With that being said I hope its me cause I have twins on the way. This will be my last toy before they come.

I just hope it goes to someone who actually wants the EVO and they're not going to turn around and sell it on ebay right away.

I only recently signed up but not for the contest alone. Been reading the site and forums for months figured it was time to join (i won't lie it did make me sign up sooner then later). I highly doubt I'll win anyways I don't exactly have good luck in contests. plus more active users deserve more of a chance really. I sure as hell wouldn't sell it like some though that's just messed up.

This. I signed up for the contest and have been lurking since. I don't post, but I've definitely gotten some good ideas for cases and mounts (thankfully, so now I won't get swindled by BB/Sprint).

I don't doubt that some are cheaters but I think there are many of us who will be new to the Android OS with our new Evos - hence our accounts are new and our posts are low. Maybe we need a "Will the Evo be your first Android?" poll?

It seems to me that a lot've people made duplicate accounts just to go post in the thread. If you skim through 10 pages or so, 90 out of the 100 of the posts were made by someone with 1 post. I mean I'm sure some people legitimately only have one post because they don't like posting, but honestly, thats way too many one poster's for there not to be cheaters.

Don't worry they are gonna check for that, Anyone who does that will be disqualified and banned. Moderators/admins have access to a lot of tools to investigate that kinda thing.
