Tone plays when call ends

I purchased one Samsung Fascinate from a Best Buy in October and returned it for various reasons and I repurchased another one yesterday from a different Best Buy. When I made or answered a phone call on the first SF, a small sound or tone would play upon ending the phone call. However, with this second SF, I do not have a tone playing when ending a phone call or hanging up. Was the first phone made differently or is my second phone missing something. Does anybody else's Samsung Fascinate play a tone when they hand up from a call?

Mine only makes the tone if I wait for the other person to disconnect (when the background goes from green to orange). Not if I hit the end button.

Ditto. Mine only seems to make this noise if the person on the other line is disconnected before I hit the end call button.

Are you sure this isn't happening with you?

Im pretty sure that mine too is playing a tone when I hit the end call button. HMMMM????

i think mine plays a tone when i push end too...

i'll listen for it the next time someone calls me

I noticed tonight that mine does play a sound when I hit end as well. Just never noticed before I guess.
