Too late to get OPO?

Hey guys, I was wondering if it's too late to get OPO? When is the OP2 coming out? What would be the cons of getting OPO right now?

It definitely is not too late. Just traded my N5 for a OPO a couple weeks ago and I love it.

The only con for me personally would be that OnePlus doesn't have to best track record with stable software updates. Other then that my performance and battery life have been way better then my nexus 5 was.

I've owned around 20 phones in the past year and a half and this one is the best overall of any of them. Don't worry too much about the OPO2, it'll be out later this year but it will be more expensive. If you can afford it I might wait, but otherwise don't worry about it!

Yea, I just checked and it was released about a year ago. I thought it was longer than a year like close to 2 years. Why did you leave the nexus? I was debating between nexus and OPO

I left the nexus partly to try something new and partly because I wanted a device with better battery life. The OPO gets around 5-6 hours of screen on time for me, while the nexus only got me 3-3.5 hours at most, so the OPO was the right choice for me. Also, the performance of the OPO trumps the N5. Not by much, but its noticeable.

my advice.. wait for the announcement next week from Oneplus.. and then decide.. for me personally.. the device is great...except the size.. so my advice wait to see if they release something smaller next week

I am currently using a HTC M7 and am looking at the Alcatel Idol 3 and One plus One. With the price drop tomorrow they are the same price. Thoughts? Or maybe I should wait for the OPO 2?

With the $50 discount for this week, getting the OPO now is a great move. I've had several and it's the 1a of the 2014 phones (LG G3 would be 1). There are no cons when it comes to the OPO for me. I've never had to deal with customer service, I've always gotten my phone on time and its the best feeling phone I've ever had. Win win as far as I'm concerned.

It would be an excellent buy with the additional discount. If you need a great phone that's carrier unlocked to bring to either T-Mobile or AT&T or their prepaid MVNOs (even better!) you can't go wrong.
