Too late to get the MyTouch 4G? (Not slide)

I'm really anxious to get an android phone right now! My parents have promised to get me one in the future, but thats currently undefined. T-Mobile just updated their site to reflect a lim ited time offer to get a free MyTouch 4G with a new contract.

The Question is, is it too late in the game to get a MyTouch 4G? Or is it just right?

Worries about getting it now:
1. Its not dual core
2. 3.8 inch screen compared to other T-Mobile phones
3. It came out half a year ago (Thats a pretty long time in Tech years.. I've been keeping up)

HOWEVER, it did just get OTA updates for gingerbread, so its got that going for it.

dual core,,,, marketing hype. I'm running 1.2Ghz on a single core. Considering there are few apps to take advantage of dual core,,,,,

Half a year is not too bad.... Mine is 2 yrs, and it rocks!!!

Don't stress. You can go get a dual core phone, but what about the quad core ones coming!?!

Get the phone that fits you, with custom roms you won't be left in the dust. MT4G looks pretty solid.
