Yes, I'm getting Too Many Amazon Prime Video App Updates. Been getting 2 or 3 a week now for the last several months. Is this normal or do I have something wrong with my phone (LG V20)? This is not a huge problem but it is mildly annoying. Can I simply shut off updates from Amazon? Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Are you doing automatic updates?

I don't think so. How do I confirm that? Is that in Amazon settings? Android apps ask me if I want to install updates. So automatic - I don't think so.

Correction:
OK, in Play Store I have Auto-update apps over Wifi Only. So yes, I do have auto update. This does not explain to me all of the Amazon video app updates however.

Mod (Ry): It sounds like you are implying that the only way to stop these bothersome Amazon updates is to disable Auto Updates in Google Play. I really don't want to go that route if possible.

Only Amazon can explain all of the updates.

I'm in the beta channel for a good number of apps so I'm used to seeing the same apps get updated almost daily.
