Too Many Windows Opened

Every time i surf the net and go from website to website a new window opens. I always have 16 widows open then it starts telling me that i have to close one to be able to keep surfing. I don't remember my epic touch doing that. Instead of opening new windows it would just open the new website over the previous. Is there a setting somewhere that will prevent websites from opening in new windows and just open over the one i was at?

Then close half of them and problem solved.

The answer is to use Chrome. But then again, why do you need more than 16 windows open at a time?
