Too much lag from Nougat

I got android Nougat about 2 months ago, and i got a problem that has been bugging ever since ,when i press the home button the phone lags to get to the main screen almost every single time, any help to fix the problem ?

Generally is a good idea to wipe cache partition after bigger updates. Try that for a start...
