If they want to do the FaceID-like unlock, it needs sensors, so the S10-like pinhole display is off the table. So that leaves us with a notch, or a bezel. Considering the pretty negative response they got to the notch, I am not surprised in the slightest they went with a bezel. I went from an s9+ to a 3a XL and I am fine with a small bezel.

The front pretty much looks like a Pixel 2 XL. We made no progress in the last 2 years LOL

Not necessarily. Look at S10 and S10+. Gorgeous pieces of hardware. Google just been lagging in that department for a long time. There is no need for huge bezels in 2019 to do what need to be done

S10 is pretty isolated and basically opinion regarding what's gorgeous.... If people have such an issue with the notch and all that, how is this a poor design?

S10 is pretty isolated and basically opinion regarding what's gorgeous.... If people have such an issue with the notch and all that, how is this a poor design?

It's the same old discussion. Notches, bezels and holes....oh my!

Wait for the RAM, Display, Front Speakers, and Battery Size and the Camera discussions to start.....oh and let's not forget the headphone jack!

The Pixel 4 does not need to be the highest specked phone on the market, it needs to catch up in some areas, increase RAM, improve the mics, and it could be my daily driver. I was using a Pixel 3 for some videos for work and was super impressed with the video quality and embarrassed with the sound. That was the main reason I made the switch to the Samsung S10+. I am very happy with the S10+, love Samsung Pay and it will be a hard decision when the time comes. CMon Google get it right this year.....

I'm not a Samsung fan. So there won't be a lot of choice out there for me. My only choices really will be a pixel or a Huawei. That's if Huawei are still rocking Android

Yes it does look like the Pixel 2 XL in that pic.Just the bezel alone would not be a deal breaker in itself for me.
As much as the other stuff, camera, speakers,display,price, etc. To make it worth the price to upgrade from the Pixel 2 XL
