Top Shot / Motion Auto

Anyone else's "Top Shot" feature sorta wonky? Seems like when I keep it on Auto, it'll work after a restart, but will eventually not work properly.

I've tried tests where I'd close my eyes in the middle of pressing the shutter and still no avail. Other than turning on HDR+ Enhanced, are there any settings that may prevent this from working properly?

I have not done much with my P3 camera yet but read somewhere that TopShot works better with Motion set to On rather than Auto.

I think i read that as well.. Something about it triggers when the subject is moving and sometimes with auto-motion it doesn't always pick up on that movement.

Never worked on auto with me. When I switched it on, it works

Cool. At least this confirms that it's not just my phone. Hopefully an update will fix this auto thing.

Can someone tell me how top shot works or if I'm missing something? I scroll up from when I take a picture like the demos but see nothing there. I checked the more section and don't see it anywhere. I also checked setting of camera but don't see it, is it part of the stock package?

With Hdr + on and morion photo on take a pic, after taking a pic pull out the pic and tap the 3 dots in top right corner and tap on select shots.

Thank you, I actually eventually found it out and realized had HDR+ Enhanced on which doesn't motion settings.

after replying to you I tried what you said by scrolling up with my photo and realized it was right there
