total customization(i love this phone)

well i've had this thing for about 3 weeks and i keep finding different and better things to do with it. it took me a few days to get the nerve to root my optimus and i must say to anyone on the fence that it is a really really good idea to do it. this forum really made the process painless(actually rooting is really simple, getting the bootloader on was slightly more of a pain but it took maybe an hour to do everything including flashing my first custom rom). Android makes good performance improvments every time they release a new version. going from 2.2 to 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 in a few weeks was pretty cool to see battery life and ui response improve each time.

as of now i am running aosp cm7 and it is great with golauncher ex with the honeycomb 3d cm7 skin(this skin is far better than the others).
