Total Darkness Flash Shot (S9+ vs Pixel 2 XL)

This is gonna hurt. Top picture is S9+. The first shot with the Pixel was so much worse than the S9+, I knew that wasn't right. Retook it and got the result I was expecting (sigh). At least both of these cameras live in the same house. Maybe I'll learn when to use each one. These are originals. I didn't even want to rotate and re-save the S9+ picture. I'm hoping when you click on it and open it to the original size, it will rotate on it's own...might not. I WANT THE PIXEL CAMERA ON MY GALAXY PHONE!!!

It's too bad the site compresses photos SO much. The differences are really muchobvious. I rotated and re-uploaded the S9+ picture.

It hurts because I want the S9 to have as good a camera as the Pixel. It hurts because I first had the Pixel but let my husband have it so I could get the S9+. It hurts because I want the best of both phones. I think this annoyed you more than it did the dog

OP, I think both photos look great! Doggie is napping all peaceful and stuff ... You've been wearing yourself out over these cameras/pictures for a few weeks now .. Why drive yourself nuts over pictures between two great cameras?

You're right, I have. Why, cause I'm just wired that way I suppose When I put away my 50X optical zoom Canon bridge camera 2 years ago, my goal was to get the best phone camera I could buy. But these two cameras make it impossible to decide if I made the right choice. This comparisons says I did not. OK, I'll try to let it go...TRY!

U can install pixel camera on S9+ search for the apk....

Right now, the “best” phone camera (even by DXOMark tests) is the Huawei P20 Pro. The pics over on that forum have been, overall great.
I’ve been underwhelmed by the cameras on the S9+ (and the camera on the S9) based on the posted photos in this forum. The Note 8 pics in that forum have, overall, even been better.
