Total noob question

Hey guys/gals,

I can't figure out how to change the sound for incoming sms messages. I have updated the notification sounds but it only changed my gmail notification. I've looked all over the sound options and I can't figure it out...please help! Thanks.

You are using the stock HTC message app correct? If so open the app, tap the menu, tap settings, and look under 'Notifications'

Usually it is in the messaging app settings not the system settings.

You can also hit menu in the messages app and itll give you an option to change the notification sound.

I would recommend Ringo Pro. It is a paid app but it allows you so much customization on your text and ring tones. It is worth it.
