Touch response delay

I just got the S21 Ultra coming from the 20U and i already found the first bug.
When I'm in an app and press the home button and try to swipe down or up for the notification tray, or apps menu to display, it doesn't respond, i have to swipe again for it to do it. I have the US Unlocked version. I cache partitioned, it's on the latest software update, etc blah blah. Anyone else noticing this?

Edit: apparently it's a sensitivity issue. Only way for the issue to go away is by turning off animations.

No, stock one ui.

Or screen protector.

You could try adjusting touch sensitivity from Settings, Display.

No screen protector either and i never had to change that setting on my s20U

Sorry. That sounded like a common issue with 3rd party launchers and One UI launchers. I've not seen it with OneUI. I hope you can get it figured out. Could it be a misbehaving app or widget?

If no screen protector and 3rd party launcher , check in safe mode if it still happening.

It doesn't do it nearly as much on safe mode. But i just realize it does it when I hit the home button after using the stock messages app. It fails the first swipe down for notifications but not up for app menu. It's quite annoying

Have you checked for update for home UI launcher in galaxy store ?

Yeah all apps are up to date. I also went to the Home UI about section and it says up to date. I know that's where the bug is. And i got the latest Unlocked update too from February right when I got the phone.

You can try clear data and force stop the launcher but it will erase your home screen set-up

That's what I don't wanna do cause i have all my apps in folders organizee and idk how to back the set up up

You can use smart switch on the pc to back up your home page but not sure if it will do folders

When i did the Smart switch app data transfer the folders did pass over but idk the pc version

That definitely works and the issue is completely gone but i do like my animations on lol
