Touch screen delay

Every time I unlock my phone I have to wait about a sec or two for me to tap on anything and have it kpwn...
Anyone resolve the delay issue? I have the touch screen booster... But I starting to think it's not the screen but the phone.

Firing it up from a full power-down, perhaps, but not simply waking the phone and entering your PIN, which I think is what you mean.
See whether it's the same in Safe Mode.

When I swipe to unlock... 9 outta 10 times when I tap on an icon to open an app it doesn't respond the first tap.... I have to wait a good sec or two for it to respond to any touch.

There was a thread on this before. Basically, you have to wait about a half second or a full second (I'm estimating) for the bottom navigation buttons to appear in place, then you can tap something. This is every time you unlock the phone. To me, it's not really lag, it's just how the UI works.

So I think I figured this out... It was my smart notice widget holding everything up while it was refreshing itself everytime I opened up my phone... All good now.
