Touch screen issues with Pixel 2 XL

Sadly I am returning my Storm Trooper Pixel 2 XL. This has been my 3rd Pixel 2 XL. It has started to to have touch screen issues and the display becomes unresponsive. I either have to hit the back button a few times for it to work again or restart the phone. I tried a factory reset and that did not work.
So spent some time with the phone last evening in a walk with my son just to make sure the issues was still there after the factory reset. Still happening in certain apps and webpages. Tried the same apps and webpages on my other phones (Note 8 and 8 Plus) and they don't have this issues in the exact spot the Pixel 2 does.

I am done with the Pixel 2 XL not gonna try a fourth one. I love the phone but it is ridiculous to have so many quality control issues with a phone model.

Wow, it seems you've been extremely unfortunate. I love mine and haven't found any glitches.

Wow, what an odd coincidence. My Pixel 2 XL started having unresponsive issues on the exact day you posted this.. So far it's still trucking and restarts are keeping it working..

It's apparently a hardware issue that doesn't affect every phone.
I've had my Pixel 2 XL 128 since launch and so far no problems.
