Touch Screen Response problem

So before I start, I am rooted, using existz's ICS ROM.

Now when the keyboard comes up, I try to either text or backspace, and I can press a key all day long for a short period of time, and it won't say I'm pressing it, unless I either back out of the keyboard or press down on the bottom two corners of the phone. (where the home and search button are.)

What could be the problem? I kinda looked into it, is it the digitizer? Or something else?

I'm sure that's a rom bug with the digitiser try a diff rom
