Touch Sensitivity Issues on 2 XL

Has anyone else noticed their touch sensitivity degrade over the last couple of weeks possibly after the January OTA??

My phone has stopped registering light taps or taps with my finger tip opposed to the whole pad of my finger along the navbar region, around the backspace key on the keyboard, and a few other areas in the lower region when the keyboard is open.

It's getting annoying to the point that I'm about ready to move on from the Pixel....

Have you tried a factory reset? Or contacting Google support via Settings?

Factory reset yes, I have sent an email to Google but have not heard back yet.

I've noticed it too. Seems I have to tap things twice more often to make them register.

If anything mine is supersensitive most of the time. Twice so far in the last 3 weeks my touchscreen became unresponsive in totality for like 10 seconds. I chalked it up to an app

I have touch issues mainly in the YouTube app, the three dots in the right corner when in landscape, I have to pound the corner of the screen with my finger until it opens, really aggravating.

Mine mainly comes with the default keyboard and swift keyboard. So wierd and annoying. When I start typing and email or text message it closes out and I have to reopen to finish typing.

mine was in the top corners and they couldn't figure out why. ended up sending me a replacement device.
