Touchless Control /Hangouts (Moto-X 2013)

Here's the deal. While listening to a podcast (Pocket Casts), in comes a Hangouts text notice. "You have an incoming message from "John Smith", and then the normal beep sound just goes continuous. After backing out of Hangouts, the podcast won't run. The only way I have found to get back to normal is to reboot the phone. Have any of you experienced a conflict between Hangouts/Touchless Control and Pocket Casts?

Google (Search) app is causing a conflict with its latest update to is Voice features. Check out this thread:
