Touchpad issues with Dock

I have the Dock accessory for my 300, and I'm having occasional issues with the touchpad not responding. The keyboard still types characters, but the touchpad doesn't respond and I don't get a pointer onscreen.

This problem seems to occur most often when I put the tablet to sleep while it is still in the Dock, and wake it up later. Sometimes the touchpad comes back after a delay, sometimes I can get it back by sleeping/waking the tablet again. Most often I have to pop the tab and reinsert it into the Dock, or restart the tab.

Is anyone else having these issues, and perhaps can suggest a cure? I'm running stock JellyBean 4.1.1, build 10.4.2.13.

Your not hitting the button that turns it off are you? It's in the upper left corner of the keyboard

No, I didn't even know the button was there until after I made my post!

What I am finding is that when the touchpad pointer mysteriously disappears on me, I can get it back by tapping the trackpad on/off button twice. At least it's worked for me so far.

Thanks for the help. This tablet is still new and I'm not always sure what to expect.
