Android Central Question

Just bought a new Galaxy S9. I don't have a lot of apps loaded yet. I noticed though that the keyboard isn't very responsive. When extending the keyboard, I have to wait a few seconds for screen taps to register. Also, after some words pop up, the screen can freeze before being accessible again.

Also when moving around the OS, the screen presses appear to be intermittently sluggish - like the CPU is having a hard time handling background events.

I do have it on medium power saving mode. I'm curious if I have a defective device or if more people are experiencing this issue in the latest Android Pie?

Do you have a screen protector installed? If so, it is probably that causing the issue.

OK, evidently there is an option in the display settings to turn up touch sensitivity that is especially designed for screen protectors.
