I got tired of TouchWiz months ago. I replaced it with Google Now. The only negative with that move was the loss of the 3 dots option menu. Is there a way to get that option back without installing TouchWiz. Thanks.

What "3 dots option menu" are you referring to? The option menus are usually part of the specific apps, and many are doing away with that due to the material design.

If it's not in the apps that you're looking for it, where were you seeing it before?

When I had TouchWiz, in the Apps setting, there was a 3 dot menu. It had alphabet sorting, disable apps, etc among other choices. When I changed to Google Now, I lost those options.

That's strange. I have it on mine. In the Settings > Application Manager I have the three vertical dots. When I tap on it, I see

"Sort by Size" (my apps are sorted alphabetically)
"Reset app preferences"

If I tap on a system app (or the "bloatware" if you will), I have the ability to disable it.

This is in the system settings, and is not tied to the launcher. Perhaps your carrier possibly removed it? Not sure if they can or not...

I just know that I still have it - I'm running 5.0 here in Canada.

I used to have it also. When I used Google Now, all those options disappeared and it took a great deal of time to set up my screens and shortcuts. I like the way I have it setup now. I'd just like to see those options occasionally without changing the screens. I know that I can reinstall TouchWiz to get those options back, but I don't want to go through the hassle of setting the system up again when I want to return to the SETTINGS I have now. Thanks for your help.

I just realized that I missed the part where I wanted to say that I, too, am running Google Now launcher. That's why it's a mystery to me why you wouldn't see those options...

Well, I don't have the options now. If you look at SETTINGS - DEFAULT APPLICATIONS, then click HOME, you should see 3 options. TOUCHWIZ EASY, TOUCHWIZ HOME,AND GOOGLE NOW LAUNCHER. I selected Google Now launcher.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5 on the Verizon network.
