I ran the TouchWiz update this morning and now my Tab 10.1 will start up with the Samsung logo and the little graphic display and then just keep looping through it over and over. It was not rooted and worked great until now.

I'm having the same problem. Tried a hard reset with no success.
it took a long time for mine to launch after I shut it down. Well over ten minutes and probably closer to fifteen.

So does holding power and volume up start the reset prompt?

Something similar happened to me. When I rebooted, I got a new Samsung (Galaxy Tab 10.1) logo, the music, then a scrambled screen. Tab is bricked.

My 14-day BB return window ended YESTERDAY! I am still going to try and take it back tonight and plead with them... probably to no avail.

Samsung had me factory reset the unit - no dice. Still does the same thing. I can reboot into Recovery Mode, and it looks like it wants to download something called ODIN3... may search XDA to see if anyone can help me bring this baby back from the brink.

I should have said soft reboot; I used the power+volume combo. It restarted the tablet but it just went back into the loop. Eventually my battery died. I plugged it in and tried again, no success.

I'm having the exact same problem.Samsung said that I have to send it back for repair & it will take about 3 weeks. I'm going to contact SquareTrade and see if that warranty I bought from them is of any help... they guarantee a 5 day repair and return. I'm so upset right now... I know I shouldn't but I am.

Edit: Just shipped mine to Samsung for repair since it is still under warranty. On a positive note the repair center is in Forth Worth TX just a few hrs away from me so hopefully it won't take 3 weeks.
