Tried a tempered glass protector that effectively disabled the fingerprint reader. While I'm waiting for an "approved by Google" TG protector to be available I got the TPU version from Otterbox.
It works well, and having only used TG for years now, I'm pleased with how much it feels like glass. In the old days these flexible ones felt 'sticky'.
I'm sure my screen won't scratch with this on but skeptical that these flex screens protect the glass from breaking as well as TG can. What's the word on that?
