Hi, does anyone knows how can I trace when I activate my phone for the first time when I bought it. Is there a way to get the date from the phone. I'm trying to find the date I purchase it so that I can request a copy of the receipt. I lost mine...

If you never factory restored it then check your data usage and look at the first date you used data and that should help you find or get a date close to the activation date. If you used data on the first day then you can get the exact date.

Have you asked your carrier? I would think that with the ESN or EMEI they could tell you when it went in service.Heck, probably all they need is your account number. Especially if you took advantage of the discount, they'll know when it went in service so they know when you're eligible for an upgrade again.

In case if you brought the unit outright, if the seller is a registered (US, Canada) one, then they should have a record of your sale. Try calling them and most companies will help you out.
