I sent my 8 Pro in last week. It was delivered on Tuesday. But I still haven't heard anything yet from Google, saying they received it or they're checking to see if the phone's okay etc.

I went to the Google store in person. There are only 7 and 2 more coming soon. But I am lucky enough to live near one of them. Went smoothly on 28th.

Somebody on Reddit said he was sent an empty box when when he ordered his 6a. The replacement was also empty.

So in person is worth the less hassle of mailing it back and they possibly never get it or deny it.

It was smooth last time by mail. But this year so much better in person.

Took 5 minutes to examine it and then enter the promo code and all that. And another 15 minutes to copy all my data and transfer it over.

He hooked up the old phone to the new phone with a USB cable and transfered all the file and contacts and everything. And the rest went on my USB flash chip 128gb.

And I got to see if my case from Amazon fits. And got to try of the snap ring and other accessories.

All the same day. No waiting five days for it to arrive and 5 days to mail it back.

Yeah I haven't heard anything from Google yet either. I thought in the past they were pretty on top of this. Like I would see it was delivered and the next morning I would get an email saying they have it in their possession. I'm getting a little nervous. I haven't heard anything in 3 days.

Just heard from google this morning. They said my Pixel 9 pro xl was accepted and it either matched or exceeded its trade in value

Great news! We have examined the device you submitted for trade-in, and its value either matches or is more than the estimate.


Look for a $652.50 refund to your payment method in 2-5 business days (or after your new device ships).

Sent my iPhone 15 Pro Max to T-Mobile last week. Got confirmation yesterday that it arrived and my trade is completed.

Just heard from google this morning. They said my Pixel 9 pro xl was accepted and it either matched or exceeded its trade in value

I have not even mailed in yet. I was trying to find a buyer locally and try to sell. Will mail it this Monday if I can't sell it locally this weekend for cash.

The phone was delivered tues the 2nd. I got the email saying they received it and then the email saying the trade in was completed both this morning

I dropped my P9P off at UPS yesterday (Friday) morning. Like last year, it was kinda sad to reset the phone and pack it up to ship off. I'll be glad to get the money back for it, but a phone, like a watch, is such a constant in your everyday life. I almost felt guilty just shipping it off! I WILL be glad to get the money for it ... it's in perfect condition.

I just got an email today from Google that they've received my trade in. I should know my full refund in 3 to 5 days

Wow That was quick. I just got another email 5 minutes later saying I'm getting my full refund on the trade-in! I guess it's official. I'm staying with the pixel 10 for a couple years lol

I'm worried about dropping off on a Saturday since it'll be sitting in the UPS drop off center until Monday evening. I'll drop off Monday afternoon closer to when it'll be picked up from the local UPS store to the sorting facility.

Screw it! I dropped off the trade-in at my local UPS store instead of waiting until Monday. That way, I have one less thing to do on a workday.

It’s going to travel a long way via UPS ground from the Pacific Northwest to Tennessee.

It will reach Tennessee on Thursday, plus there will be additional processing time to complete the trade-in.
