Hello!
I received my Note 10+ pre order on Thursday last week, and now need to send my device in (I bought a Pixel 3 for $370 to trade in). I'm wondering what are the best tips for sending the device in, without error? I've read about pictures and videos of the process, but want to see what else people can think of. Thanks!

I've shipped phones, so ...

Use plastic bags (that you get in the store every day) as packing material.
Get a box large enough for the phone and at least 1" of bags, crumpled small, on each of the 6 sides.
If the box is too big, use a razor knife to score only the inside layer of cardboard, then fold it in, cutting off any really large excess.
Crumple bags down into the box, lay the phone on them, shove bags in on 4 sides, then a layer of bags on the top, and close the box. Tape it with packaging tape. If you have a label, put the label on after the box is sealed (if you have any paperwork that has to go with the phone, put in the box before sealing it), then cover the label with clear packaging tape (to keep it waterproof). (Packaging tape is 1.88" (0.75cm), so a few strips should cover the label.)

If you don't have a shipping label, bring the box to a package store and bring the shipping address with you. (I'd type it up nicely, with my return address and the shipping address and either print it or keep it on your phone, so they can see it and get it correctly.)

Send it.
