Traded in the Shift for EVO

I started my and android experience with the evo shift. I immediately found that I did not need the keyboard. I paid the restocking fee and obtained the evo. This is totally anecdotalher are her but it seems as though the shift was faster developing webpages. This is on the 3G network and I do not use wifi. If anyone else has noticed this I would be interested in hearing from them. Thank you in advance.

Wouldn't really surprise me. The cpu in the shift is a bit better. Enjoy the new phone.

The Evo loads webpages really fast for me... I'm using 4g. Loading webpages really have to do with your data network connection. Strong 3g connection = fast connection _ Weak 3g connection = slower connection _ Strong 4g connection = Awesome connection.

Try updating your "Data Profile"

The Shift does have a better CPU and GPU; and more memory.

but a website should not have any difference on EVO or Shift. So, I would think it is just a data speed difference at the time you did it. Some days the data i fast.. some days it is slow.

Once I tweaked my Evo, I would love to do a speed test with the Shift.. or any phone.

the Shift will always kill an EVO.

I love my EVO... but I know its limits.
