Traditional typing vs swiping

I've been swiping for years. Took a while to get good at it, but I could never go back to one letter at a time. I also loved the original Swype program but now use Gboard to swipe.

This has been my experience, as well.

Don't even know how long it's been but using swipe keyboard functionality from long time. Can't use a phone without it.

And Gboard is my preferred keyboard.

I'm still using the original Swype. It sucks that it's no longer in the Play store, because it was always the most accurate and I love the ability to capitalize a word by swiping up from the first letter. Swiping is much easier than tapping out a word.

Another original Swype lover here. I extracted the apk and keep it in a drop box so as I change or add new devices I always have it available . I tried SwiftKey and a few others, but none had to accuracy, and features of Swype!

well, that's awesome. Does the original Swype work with Google Voice typing though? If it does, would you be willing to share that with me?

Not sure what you mean by google voice typing. I can swype, or tap the mic on the Swype keyboard, and voice to text if that's what you mean
