Tragedy has struck. Shattered One.

Guys. As someone who has probably had 12+ phones in the last 2 years (I have a problem). Tragedy has truly struck. I sat down in a chair on the back deck and felt it slip out of my pocket, picked it up, and totally shattered the screen!

On a good note HTC is replacing it for free, even though I bought it off of Craigslist. So Kudos to HTC. They are running a good show. Also these were low chairs, it maybe fell 12-18 inches tops! Stupid cement. I've never done that ever.

Long story short, if you like it than you better put a case on it.

Sorry to hear it but I totally disagree with the last statment. It really depends on the person. Yes, accidents do happen but I've never had a loss, crack, etc, etc in the last 10 years and I'm pretty athletic and outdoorsy. I'd rather enjoy mine case-free because the likelihood of me damaging it is really low, based on my phone history. To each is own.

Accidents happen, even to those who take care of their phones. There but for the grace of the Android gods ...

It means if you have ever dropped one and it wasn't damaged, you were lucky...any drop can break a phone screen.
