You won't see an Iphone with 4G until all the carriers get their e together with 4G technology.

Well I think Apple delayed their 4S release specifically because of the LTE chip manufacturing timeline. The 2nd gen LTE chips are supposed to start being mass produced by February or March I think. So my guess is the next iPhone probably won't be out until at least August as it will be much easier then to cram all of those radios into one phone.

Some are thinking the next iteration will be out in March, but I highly doubt it.

I've seen plenty of reviews saying the nexus was a disappointment. Can't rag the guy for being honest. The nexus has flaws. Were just so deep into this launch that no one wants to mention any faults. I get it. I saw all this with the thunderbolt. I say again though, please keep expectations low. I expect to see alot of bug threads. Back to the op. Thanks for the write up. It's everything I thought. The nexus main selling point and reason I want it is because of ice cream sandwhich. The camera is disappointing, and the no removable storage sucks. But its stock which is appealing.

I still can't believe people are so hung up on the camera. You know how much I use the camera on my phone or a camera at all actually? Hardly ever. I know some people use cameras a lot, but for those that do, I highly doubt they're taking pics with their phone. As nice as it would be if it wasn't the case, the camera is one item that I think will be safe from the convergence of devices.

Aside from the camera I don't see anything that is worth being disappointed about.

I still can't believe people are so hung up on the camera. You know how much I use the camera on my phone or a camera at all actually? Hardly ever. I know some people use cameras a lot, but for those that do, I highly doubt they're taking pics with their phone. As nice as it would be if it wasn't the case, the camera is one item that I think will be safe from the convergence of devices.

If the nexus had a 8mp shooter on par with the iphone, you and plenty of others would use that as a selling point. But since its subpar, you making it out to be a non issue when for some, it actually is. You can use hardware acceleration and blah blah. But if there are better specs phones out there, to release anything less than those is disappointing.

Um, no I wouldn't, because that's how little I use the camera and that's how little I care about the camera. My wife's Revolution has a 5MP camera and it's actually pretty good. But the option is nice, and if I'm given a sub par camera, ill be disappointed. Even though I don't use it.
Why? Because ill feel like I'm settling. I'm spending 300 bucks on what's supposed to be the latest and greatest. So I want all the top of the line features.

Now that's one thing I'm a little disappointed about is I'll be losing dual led. It seems that HTC is the only company putting that on all of their phones though.

Typo. I didnt mean you in particular. I mean the average user. If someone doesn't UAE a camera buy has the option to get a better camera, they will still want the best camera because they want there money worth.

I read its because the dual led was too bright and would wash out photos. I love it. It never bothers me
