I apologize if this isn't appropriate to ask here, this was the closest forum I could find here.

When I first bought an android 15 years ago, I created an email address not expecting it to follow me for 15 years and beyond. 😂 So, I have created a new Gmail account that is more appropriate for me today, and beyond. Now that I have this created, is there a way to move everything associated with my old account to my new account? I am mostly worried about drive, calendar, play store, and everything associated with my S24U. The articles I found were fairly old so not sure how accurate they are today.

I appreciate any help.

That's definitely a newer discussion than I found. Thanks. I am fine leaving the photos where they are (I may move them, but OK if they stay). I see most of my concerns - contacts, calendar, drive files, passwords, chrome data. Looks like things from the play store (paid) may not move, have to speak with the developers (if I'm reading correctly).

I'm willing to do the legwork if these things are possible, which seems to be the case. Now, after I have everything moved, what about my phone, do I simply add the new account to my phone and log into that? I want to make sure I am connecting properly to everything including the play store.

I've never tried this, but I think it'd be best to factory reset the phone, then set it up again with the new account. You can add the older account later as a secondary account if you still need access to it.

Oh boy, I do NOT want to wipe my phone for this. I'm upgrading when the new Ultra comes out. Until then, possible to have everything moved to the new account, use the new Gmail account and drive while logged into the phone with the old account? Then with the new phone register it with the new account?

I would have the new account then add your old account to the phone and take what you can then delete the old account probably be the easiest way .
