Hi;
How do I transfer books directly from computer to tab.
I have tab connected directly to computer via usb.
What folder are the playbooks stored in? I found a books folder on tabs internal card but when I transfered there it was not recognised by playbooks app. It was in epub format. Does the book have to be uploaded to playbooks? Is there a folder to transfer it to which would be much quicker and easier?
Thank you for your help.

If you want to use Play Books, the only way to 'side load' books is by uploading them to Play Books and then either accessing them online or downloading an offline copy.

There are other 3rd party apps that do let you load books directly from your device, though. I used Kobo Reader for a couple of years until Play Books got better and allowed uploading books, that way I can read wherever I am, even if on a browser.

Thank you.
I was hoping for an easy & quick copy and paste from computer folder to tab folder.

Unfortunately, not with Play Books. It only allows side-loading books by uploading them to their server first. You can do it both from the Computer or from your phone, but they do need to be uploaded first.
