Sync contacts with Gmail. When you sign in to Google with your s3 all your contacts should sync to your new phone. At least I think that's what I did for my Fascinate to gnex

I backed up with Google and Verizons backup program and as soon as I activated the phone it downloaded all my contacts. I don't know witch program did but worked for me.
