The easiest way would be to import all your contacts and calendar into Google, then sync your phone with your Gmail account. That is truly the easiest way.

thank you

thank you for the information...You mention contacts ( that would be the address book ) and the calender. Is there anyway to get the memo's or any other data?
Also is it easy for you to expain to me the steps to take to load my info to Google and then transfer it to the new phone? thanks again...greatly appreciated

How do you have your contacts (address book) and calendar backed up on your PC? I'm assuming Palm Desktop Sync?

As far as know I don't think Google has a sync or import method for memo's.

You should be able to sync with outlook. (This is how it used to be at least) You change this through start -> programs -> palm on your computer. If you get all your stuff there, you can do a file -> export and export your stuff to a .csv file. This worked perfectly for me since I had a sync program for outlook for my pre. Google imported them very easy. You have to this for your contacts separately from your calendar.

I had a Treo 755p also and loved the Palm desktop. I had problems when switching to Outlook for the Palm and got duplicate and triplicate events. Drove me crazy! I am currently, yes right now in another window!, using Palm2Google and I can see as it goes that it is converting EVERYTHING to my Google calendar for my Moment!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am! Try it--it's worth the price.
