Transfer data some days after unboxing

[Android Central Question]

Hello. I got a new One Plus phone and I would like to transfer all the apps and data I have on my current Redmi. However, as I was away, my son got hold of the new phone and has already used it, without copying anything from the old phone. How can I use the transfer function some days after the unboxing? Thanks!

You may be able to do this with OnePlus switch app... but if your kid has been playing with it for a couple of days, I think you're best just doing a factory reset and starting as if it was fresh out of the box.
