Transfer files from Moto G6 Plus to Moto G55

As the title says, I'm trying to transfer files form the Moto G6 Plus to Moto G55, but the mp3 files are not appearing after transferring them to both the internal storage and SD card?

I have read online that (NoMedia) is the culprit, however on the Moto G6 Plus, that file is there and I 'm able to download and transfer files to Moto G6 Plus.

The SD Card is Sandisk 512gb.

Welcome to Android Central! You said that there's a .nomedia file on the G6 Plus, but what about the G55? If you see it in the directory where all of the music files are, make sure to delete it. A .nomedia file instructs the system to ignore that directory when scanning for media files to populate the databases for things like the gallery app and media players.

I can't delete the (NoMediaFile) from G55

What's the name of the directory where you see it? And what happens when you try to delete the file -- does it just come back?

The name of the directory is obb which is in android folder on the SD card

Yes, it comes back after I delete the file.

The obb directory is for obb files, which stands for "Opaque Binary Blob" -- these are typically large files with a lot of various data for an app. MP3 files should not be saved to that directory, because it's intended for the system to use. Why not copy the MP3 files to the /Music directory instead, and see if they're readily available there?

I did copy the mp3 files on to the Music directory and files did not show up, even though the storage says that they are.
