Transfer or setup new and manually move data?

Wondering what others do to setup their new device. I'm coming from an S9+ to a S10+.

Smart Switch
Smart Switch (desktop)
Google backup/restore
Samsung backup/restore
Third party moving app

Or just set it up new and spend a few hours moving data manually?

In the past I've setup new and manually moved data thinking I'd avoid moving problems from my old device. I'm using SMS backup and restore for texts. All my media is on the SD card. My email accounts are all Google or Office365...

I have to say that Samsung's utility did very well for me last year, so I can't knock it. However, this year, I only plan to transfer call and text history, and do everything else manually for that "clean install" feel.
