Question Transfer wifi networks

I got a new phone. My old phone is a pixel 4 and my new one is an s23. I know my wifi networks are backed up to google, but with the s23 I can only restore from samsung backup not google. Is there any way to transfer my known wifi networks to my s23?

That's odd, I would've thought that setting the phone up with your Google account when you first got it would've given you the option to restore settings from a previous backup. Do you recall having that option?

Is Google back up on in settings>account and backup>back up data Google drive?

The only option is backup with no restore.
The first thing it did was smart switch, which had no option to transfer wifi networks. After it was done setting everything up, it did give the option to restore from previous device. That did not transfer wifi networks either, both needed the old phone to do it and neither did it from the cloud. My wife went from a pixel to a s23 also and hers did the same thing.

It should have transferred in the beginning when u set up the device

I've got that. It did not transfer wifi settings at the beginning, on my phone or my wife's. It seems like the samsung can't restore wifi settings from non samsung phones. If I go in samsung cloud, it shows wifi settings are backed up. That doesn't help transferring from non samsung phone, though.
