transfering files to new phone

Just a quick question. i am coming from a palm pre and when transfering files form that to e4gt is a little confusing. the folder structure being differing. i know about pics thats easy but what about moving vidoes and files that i had in my downloads folder, or ring tones i want to transfer over. any help would be greatly appreciated.

For ringtones you have to create the following folders in the root of your SD card: media (inside media create audio) (inside audio create alarms, notifications ringtones & ui)

Alarms folder for clock alarms
notification folder for email, text, etc.
ui for keyboard & ui related sounds.

EDIT: For videos I just create my personal folder to stick them in & you can do the same for stuff in your download folder.
