Sorry if they seem basic. Have you never tried to do this before? If you have what method did you use? Does the file actually transfer at a lower resolution or does it just play at lower resolution? Anyway, a quick Google turned up this answer and link to 14 other ways... Use a USB cable to move files to a Mac Connect your phone and Mac with the USB cable. Select File transfer / Android Auto from the USB preferences notification or pop-up. Open the Android File Transfer app (if it doesn't open automatically).
