Transferring apps from one phone to another

Hello,

I've read the suggested threads about this topic, but still have a question. My neighbor has the Weather Channel 2.3.23. This is a good version and I had it at one time on MY phone, but for whatever reason, my stupid finger deleted it from my phone. If you go to the Market, they only offer the latest version of this app and 99.999999999% of the reviews say it is horrible (and I agree.)

So, is there a way neighbor's The Weather Channel 2.3.23 can be transferred to my LG Optimus S? This is the free version of TWC.

Thanks.
Mike

You just need to get a copy of the .apk file then you can install it from your sdcard as long as you have the option checked to allow non-market installs.

Several file managers (such as ES File Explorer) have an app manager built in. Just open the file manager, go to the app management page, backup your desired apps, then copy the apk file from their phone to yours.

Do you have titanium backup? If do you just do a restore of it.
