transferring contacts from blackberry curve to Optimus S?

I have one son that has a Blackberry Curve, and his brother is giving him his old Optimus S. Is there a way he can transfer his contacts from the Blackberry to the Optimus S, via bluetooth?

few people know that you can use bluetooth to quickly transfer contacts from one phone to another.

go to the bluetooth settings for both phones, make one phone "Discoverable", make the other phone "Scan" for the Discoverable phone, and "Pair" the two.
on the curve, go to the contacts and look for a menu/option that lets you send/transfer the contacts through bluetooth.
on the optimus, accept the transfer. when the transfer is done, go to the contacts menu, press the MENU key, and "Import from SD card"

On black Berry's it won't worth right. Go to your contacts. Click menu. And export. Then upload the exported file to your Gmail and it will sync

Well, my son couldnt find a "export" or anything to transfer contacts through bluetooth..:-(

It may say back up, or it may be through desktop manager. Once you have the file u go to your Gmail. Go to contacts, and import. Then browse to the file and upload. Sync that account with the phone and contacts will come with it. If u need more details, feel free to text me. 910 431 4225

i remember desktop manager having an option to transfer contacts. you plug in the first phone then the second to your PC then click transfer. I believe it was Desktop manager. like version 5 or 6?

I just went to the sprint store and they transferred it for free.
