Hi. I'm trying to transfer a 30MB file from my phone (Android 15) to my Windows 11 PC. I can't email it which would be my usual approach as it's far to big. Any suggestions?
easy peasyPlug the phone into the PC via USB cable. Prompts on the phone and/or the PC should then guide you the rest of the way.
I tried that before asking. I get no prompts except it says on my phone that it's charging.Plug the phone into the PC via USB cable. Prompts on the phone and/or the PC should then guide you the rest of the way.
make sure your phone is unlockedI tried that before asking. I get no prompts except it says on my phone that it's charging. The phone does appear in file manager, but it just says the folder is empty.

Sounds like it is not a fully wired USB cable. Try another full spec cable,.I tried that before asking. I get no prompts except it says on my phone that it's charging. The phone does appear in file manager, but it just says the folder is empty.

When you connect via USB, swipe down the notification panel and look for a USB notification. Tap it and see if there's an option to change from Charge Only to File Transfer (or MTP).I tried that before asking.
