So I already did the file transfer with the cord during the set up. But I forgot I had some things in a private folder. How can I get back to the file transfer with the type c cable? The Bluetooth transfer is painfully slow.

do u have a usb drive with u?? use the adapter that came with your phone to plug the usb drive and plug it to your old phone. use the build in file manager to transfer files to usb drive.

I hope your old phone also has type C

It would be worth your while to buy some USB-A to USB-C cables... I'm surprised the Pixel 2 didn't come with one like the first Pixel did along with the C-C cable.

With the A-C cable you can transfer the photos from your computer if you don't have a USB-C port in it.

Also it's nice to have the A-C cable for charging if you only have access to a charger with an USB-A port.
