Transferring from damaged to new Inc. What do I need to know?

Verizon just sent me a replacement for my Incrdible bc my original had a bad camera. I'm not sure how to go about transferring everything. I know I'll move my sd card to the new phone. Do I just re-install all my apps from the market? What about my contacts? What's the best way to go about moving those?

A step-by-step would be great if possible!

If you have your contacts synced up to Google, it should be no hastle. If nothing else, you can export contacts using bluetooth or something and send them to your new phone.

And if you don't have your contacts synced to Google, do so before you start the transfer. Any of your paid apps you will be able to download again for no charge. I don't believe phones with Sense automatically backup and download your apps like true stock Google experience phones do. I could be wrong on that, though.
